1.        Cut the stems straight and use a clean vase
Cut the tulips about 2 cm straight (not diagonally) and remove any leaves that would hang in the water. Place them in a clean vase with cold water.

2.        Use cold water and only a small amount
Tulips love cold water. Fill the vase with a shallow layer and top up when needed. Refresh the water daily if possible.

3.        Keep the tulips cool and out of direct sunlight
Place the bouquet in a cool spot, away from sunlight, heating and fruit. This will help keep the tulips beautiful and upright for longer.
