1.        Trim the stems diagonally
Use a sharp knife to cut 2 to 3 centimetres off the stems at an angle. This helps the flowers absorb water better. Also remove any leaves that would hang in the water.

2.        Add flower food
Mix the supplied flower food with clean, cold water in the vase. Ideally, refresh the water every 3 days.

3.        Choose the right spot in your home
Place your bouquet in a spot that isn’t too warm, not in a draught, and not next to fruit (fruit emits a substance that causes flowers to wilt faster).
