The Yucca is a green houseplant that brings an exotic atmosphere to your home. With its long pointed leaves on a thick stem, this plant looks a bit like a palm, which is why it is also called palm lily. 

Fun fact: it is not even related to the palm! The Yucca is an easy houseplant because it does not need much water. In fact, it stores water in its stem and uses up this water reservoir little by little.

The Yucca comes from North and Central America, where it grows in the dry deserts of Mexico and Texas. It is related to the succulents group, which also includes the Dracaena, for example. In nature, the Yucca can grow up to 2.5 meters and bloom: beautiful large white flowers appear on the palm lily. In your living room this will not happen so quickly, but the tropical look makes this houseplant the eye-catcher in your interior!
